About Us
Get Healthy Kentucky was developed through legislation in 2006 to increase opportunities for Kentuckians to make healthier lifestyle choices. The program was created to give all Kentuckians access to reliable information about physical activity, nutrition and tobacco cessation as well as tools to improve their health.
The Get Healthy Kentucky program is operated by the Governor's Office of Wellness and Physical Activity within the Cabinet for Health and Family Services.
The health programs that reside within the Governor's Office of Wellness and Physical Activity include Tobacco Cessation and Prevention, Obesity Prevention and Physical Activity.
